We celebrate our diverse community everyday, and Black History Month is another opportunity to honor the legacy of Black excellence at Brooke.
You can celebrate our diverse staff along with us, by “getting to know” them through our social media and blog posts. Enjoy some recent highlights below:
My writing gets neater. And I soon know the meaning of fear. I learn how to work on projects with the help of my peers. I meet best friends. I don’t know that yet, but we’re tied. Bonded.

Our Recruitment and Retention Report serves to annually focus on the data surrounding our great Black and Latinx teachers. With 93% of Brooke students identifying as Black or Latinx, we prioritize representation and are most concerned with the critical shortage of Black and Latinx teachers. We strive to strategically increase staff diversity such that in the 2022-2023 academic year, more than half of our employees identify as people of color and we remain committed to continuing this important work.
Brooke Roslindale currently serves over 500 students in grades kindergarten through eight with the motto: engage together, grow together, achieve together.
Brooke High School was founded in 2016 and currently serves over 440 students in grades nine through twelve, providing them with an exceptional secondary education.
