kbergstrom@ebrooke.orgKristin Bergstrom joined Brooke in 2013 as a founding second grade teacher for the Brooke East Boston team. Since then, Ms. Bergstrom taught second grade at Brooke for a total of five years and has moved up to join the third grade team. She was named a Mentor Teacher in 2016, and has served in that capacity in both second and third grade since. Before coming to Brooke, Ms. Bergstrom founded KIPP Central City Primary in New Orleans, LA. There she taught kindergarten, first, and third grade over the course of her five years and participated in the KIPP Teacher Leader Program. She is also an alumnus of TeachNOLA, a division of The New Teacher Project (TNTP).
