K-7 School Culture Aide
Who Are We?
Brooke Charter Schools is a network of five public charter schools, serving grades K-12 in Mattapan, Roslindale, and East Boston. At Brooke, we coach and invest in our teachers so that they can help our students achieve at the highest levels and graduate from college. What is the School Culture Aide Role?
As a school culture aide at Brooke, you will hold students to high expectations by leading large groups in a fun and safe manner. This role may include monitoring bus rides to and from school, lunch, snacks, recess, and other duties as needed.
This role can either be part-time or full-time (to be discussed during the hiring process). Pay is $20/hr. and the start date is immediate.
Is This You?
- You’ve earned a high school diploma or GED
- After prior experience working with students, you are able to lead large groups in a fun and safe manner
- You believe that great teaching closes the achievement gap and have an unwavering belief in your students’ capabilities
- You are professional, warm, and collaborative with students, families, and colleagues
- Spanish or Haitian Creole fluency preferred
We have instituted a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all staff working in our network. All staff must either be vaccinated or must get tested by their own arrangement and submit evidence of a negative test each week.
