Brooke Charter Schools is one step closer to establishing a permanent facility for Brooke Mattapan, thanks to an $800,000 Challenge Grant from the Smith Family Foundation.

Brooke Charter Schools is pleased to announce that the Smith Family Foundation has offered an $800,000 challenge grant to help purchase and renovate a permanent facility for Brooke Mattapan, which will be move-in ready by the 2014-2015 school year. For every dollar you donate, the Smith Family Foundation will match it 1:1 up to $800,000 – for a total of $1.6 million in funding!
This money will ensure that 460 students in grades K-8 and 48 teachers will have a productive and safe school environment for years to come. The school building will feature ample classroom space, sizable auditorium, cafeteria, and gymnasium areas, and abundant outdoor space!
