Get Involved

Join the Brooke Community!

Each year, Brooke Charter Schools engages hundreds of volunteers (alumni, community volunteers, and our philanthropic partners) to support our college preparation mission. When they share their love of reading, their career experiences in technology, or a host of other inspiring skills, volunteers help our scholars envision their future as the diverse and dynamic leaders our country needs.

Volunteer opportunities can range from one hour to ongoing weekly engagements in the following areas:

  • FIRST Robotics Team Coaches
  • Book Club Readers
  • STEM Professionals for Networking Events
  • Community Meeting Speakers

If you want to volunteer, or have questions or suggestions about upcoming events, contact Kate Wright Apfelbaum.

Surround yourself with people who believe in you. Don't be afraid to take risks or ask for help, because you will always learn something when you take a risk."
