College Counseling

The BHS College Vision Statement

The Office of College Counseling was created in 2018 to support Brooke High School scholars as they turn their academic preparation into high-quality college options. In order to ensure that all BHS graduates enter adulthood empowered with the knowledge, confidence, resourcefulness, and integrity to be upwardly mobile in a competitively global workforce, our expectation is that every BHS student earns, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree with six years of graduating from high school. In doing so, they will seize upon or create opportunities to become financially secure, constantly engage their intellect and curiosity, pioneer inroads into areas that traditionally exclude women and men of color (e.g., generational wealth and home ownership), and claim their sense of belonging, in any context or circumstance
