Brooke High School

Brooke High School – Est. 2016

Core Values: Respect, Community, Positivity, Integrity, Leadership and Gratitude.

History and Mission:

The original Brooke school located in Roslindale was founded in 2002 and has quietly grown into one of the highest performing schools in the city and the state.  At Brooke, students are closing the achievement gap and exceeding expectations for even Massachusetts’ highest performing students. In February of 2016, Brooke Charter Schools was awarded 660+ newly available seats from the Massachusetts Department of Education allowing us to launch Brooke High School. With the addition of the high school, we are fulfilling a long term vision to usher Brooke students to the door step of college.

Vision:

Brooke High School opened in August 2016 and aims to be the #1, open-enrollment public high school in Massachusetts. Through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, a robust offering of Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and comprehensive college counseling support for students and families, Brooke High School will ensure that each student is prepared to succeed in college and beyond. By continuing to focus on great teaching – guaranteeing that each student is challenged and known by her or his teachers – Brooke High School will provide students an exceptional secondary education.

At full-enrollment, Brooke High School will serve 600 students from Boston and Chelsea in grades 9-12. Students from all three Brooke campuses – Brooke Roslindale, Brooke Mattapan, and Brooke East Boston – will be guaranteed a seat at Brooke High School.
