Support the Event

Although this event is free to our invited guests, please consider making a donation that will directly benefit our students and teachers. All proceeds will help fund scholarships for our graduates, as well as our capital campaign.

To fully achieve our mission, it is imperative that our graduates continue their education at high schools with a strong college preparatory focus. However, in too many cases, our students have turned down opportunities to attend such schools, citing financial difficulties.

Directions to City Year

City Year Headquarters is located at 287 Columbus Avenue in Boston, MA 02116. The City Year building is located near the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Clarendon Street near Boston's South End neighborhood.

By Public Transportation
MBTA Orange Line: Exit the Orange Line at Back Bay. Head to the Clarendon exit and turn right out of the station onto Clarendon Street. Turn right onto Columbus Ave. The City Year Headquarters for Idealism is the second building on your right.

MBTA Green Line: Exit the Green Line at Copley. Head down Dartmouth (passing the Boston Public Library on your right and Copley Square on your left. Turn left onto Columbus Ave. City Year Headquarters for Idealism is down the block on your left.

Parking
On-street parking is free, but limited, after 6 p.m. Parking is also available at the 100 Clarendon Street garage after 5 p.m. for a flat nightly rate of $9 at the parking garage on 126 Dartmouth Street after 5 p.m. for a flat nightly rate of $10.
